Sobieski assumes Wilanów

Jan III Sobieski is a typical Polish nobleman, preferring country life to the hustle and bustle of city life. For this reason he finds for himself a perfect seat in a manor house in Milanów located near Warsaw. He soon begins construction of his residence and changes its name to Villa Nova, or Wilanów in Polish. Created near the palace there is a park with a baroque Italian-style garden and en broderie flower beds as well as kitchen gardens with herbs and orange trees.
