The Treaty of Versailles

Nearly 50 years after the proclamation of the German Empire in the hall of Mirrors, the Treaty of Versailles is signed the 28th of June 1919 et ends the 1st World War. The futur of Germany is decided by the four representatives of the allied nations (Clémenceau, Wilson, Lloyd Georges and Orlando). After 6 months of endless negociations, Germany accepts this « Diktat » : it recognises its responsability in the conflict, looses 68 000 km² of its territory, must pay 20 billion gold marks in reperation to France.
