Treaty of Chambord

With the treaty of Chambord, Henri II ratifies the secret alliance he previously made with the German Protestant princes, eager to counter the power of the emperor Charles V. Following the signature of the treaty, France and its allies win a few battles in Germany. France takes hold of the three bishoprics in Lorraine but doesn't manage to occupy the Netherlands or to capture the emperor, as was planned.
