Addition of 3 pavilions

One of the richest women in Europe, Duchess Izabela Lubomirska has no intention of altering the palace interiors formerly inhabited by King Sobieski. Instead, she commissions the addition of three new buildings. The Bathroom, Kitchen and Guardhouse pavilions are designed by Szymon Bogumił Zug in classical style. Lubomirska buys from abroad many sculptures, paintings and handicrafts. With the help of her son-in-law Stanisław Kostka Potocki, she amasses a collection of antique vases and sculptures.
