Joan Of Arc

Also known as the Maid of Orléans, Joan of Arc is one of the most famous figures of the French history. In the midst of the Hundred Years’ War, she claimed to be guided by God to lead the French army to victory and to crown Charles VII. She will lead the army to several victories, including the siege of Orléans in 1429 but will be captured, sold to the English and burned at stake in 1431.
